About the role
As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for technical and solution-oriented sales.
You will own the full customer journey:
Identifying and engaging new customers
Understanding customer needs at both business and technical levels
Shaping opportunities together with our delivery teams
Closing deals and growing long-term customer relationships
You´ll work closely with existing customers to uncover new needs and expansion opportunities, while also building new relationships across the energy ecosystem. This role combines business development, solution sales, and customer understanding, and suits someone who enjoys being close to both customers and technology.
What you’ll do;
Business Development & Sales
Drive new customer acquisition within the energy and Cleantech space
Develop and close new projects with both new and existing customers
Position Helicon’s services in a way that clearly connects technology to business value
Building a customer relationship
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, including senior and C-level stakeholders
Gain a deep understanding of customers’ needs, challenges, and roadmaps
Proactively suggest new initiatives and projects that solve real problems
Shape offerings
Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to shape solutions and proposals
Help translate customer needs into concrete scopes and engagements
Participate in conferences, networking events, and industry forums
What you’ll bring to the table;
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, making things happen, and understands how technology creates value.
You likely:
Have a few years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within tech, energy, or complex services
Have experience selling consulting services
Are comfortable discussing business challenges with senior stakeholders
Understand (or are eager to understand) how digital solutions are built and sold
Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
Enjoy networking and building long-term relationships
BONUS:
Experience from the energy sector, utilities, Cleantech, or industrial domains
